The pride of the ride
The annual two-day event in Windsor Great Park in May generated yet more funds for good causes.
About £23,000 will be distributed at a presentation evening in the Guildhall Windsor on Friday the 8th September. In addition a number of riders will be presented with trophies for their very special participation, and success in the ride.
The Mayor of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead will be there to officiate.
Nearly £1.5m has been raised in the 30+ years the Horseride has been staged.
Mark Fraser the Event Controller said that he is immensely proud, and delighted to see the number of riders taking part, many of whom come great distances, and help to raise an annual amount in excess of £50,000.
