CUPS AND CHEQUES IN ABUNDANCE

An evening of rewards for the massive efforts put
in by teams from schools, Brownies, Scouts, local clubs and societies,
will be held at the Aurora Garden Hotel Bolton Avenue, Windsor on
Tuesday evening the 8th of January - 7pm. A dinner hosted by the Lions
Club will be an integral part of the evening
Mike Sells, a Past President of the Lions Club of
Windsor organises the Swim Marathon event each year. £6,000+ was raised
from the 2007 event, and most of this cash will be given to local good
causes.
There will be cups for the teams :-
Raising the most sponsorship.
For the most laps completed - and this part of
the event really did bring some competition - one schoolboy team
actually achieving over 100 laps just as the final whistle blew.
