Requests may be for the provision of household items such as carpeting or white goods, for a service such as clearing an overgrown garden or help with moving furniture, or for financial assistance for activities run by schools or local charities. In most cases two members of Windsor Lions Club will visit the person or organisation for whom the request has been made to assess what support the Club is able to provide. If an application is successful, the CSC will arrange for the requested goods or funds to be provided, or for a work party to attend to carry out whatever is required. All this work is performed by members of the Club in their spare time, providing great fulfilment and satisfaction.
